Some jobs need a licensed electrician, plumber, or HVAC contractor. On smaller repair work, that's quoted on its own so you know exactly what's what.

On a remodel, you get one price and one point of contact. When the job needs licensed electrical, plumbing, or HVAC, that's part of the project we manage — not four phone calls you have to make yourself.
Custom Carpentry & Built-Ins
The work we like most, and the reason a lot of people call in the first place.

Not every space has a standard answer — a wall that isn't square, a corner no stock cabinet will fit, a room where the obvious layout doesn't work. Those are the fun ones. If you've got something in your head you're not sure is even possible, bring it to us and we'll tell you honestly whether it can be done and what it would take.
Decks, Fences & Outdoor Living

We also take on rural and outbuilding work now and then — barns, pole barns, and shops. If that's what you've got, give us a call and we'll tell you straight whether it's a fit.

Changes that let someone stay in the home they already love. Some are an afternoon. Some are a full bathroom.

There are state, federal, and veterans' programs that help pay for this kind of work, and most of them want a written estimate before they'll approve anything. We're glad to come out and put one together for you at no charge.
Not on the list?
Ask anyway. Some of our favorite calls have been the odd ones — a picture nobody could figure out how to hang, a fix somebody else said couldn't be done, something you're half-embarrassed to ask about. The answer is usually yes.
The honest reason is simpler than a sales pitch: we like helping people. If we can do it, we will. If we can't, we'll get you to someone who can.
What we don't do
HVAC, and any electrical or plumbing that requires a licensed contractor. That work goes to licensed trades. On a remodel we bring them in and manage them as part of your project. On a small repair, we'll tell you who to call.
